UpGate Large Double

The UpGate Large Double is a solar-powered automated farm gate designed for dairy and cattle farms requiring additional clearance for taller machinery. With an UpGate Large installed at both ends of the gateway, taller vehicles such as high-sided trucks, feed mixers, self-propelled machinery and other large agricultural equipment can pass through without manually opening or closing gates.

Providing approximately 4.3–4.5 metres of clearance, the UpGate Large Double is the ideal solution where additional lifting height is required. Operated by wireless remote controls, the system allows the entire gateway to be opened at the push of a button, improving efficiency while reducing the time and effort spent opening and closing gates.

Before ordering, check the height of your tallest vehicle or machine to ensure the UpGate Large provides sufficient clearance. We recommend allowing at least 200 mm between the top of your vehicle and the bungy cords. In the open position, the bungy cords are not electrified, so light contact from flexible whip antennas is not a problem.

The UpGate Large Double attaches to 6-inch (150 mm) or larger timber fence posts and typically takes around 3 hours to assemble and install using basic tools, including a drill, 7.5 mm drill bit, socket set, spanners and Allen keys.
