UpGate Large Single

The UpGate Large Single is a solar-powered automated farm gate designed for dairy and cattle farms that may require additional clearance in the future. It provides approximately 4.3–4.5 metres of clearance beneath the lifted bungy cord and is ideal for customers wanting to future-proof their installation by starting with a single UpGate and upgrading to a double-sided setup later.

The UpGate Large Single is commonly used for motorbikes, ATVs, side-by-sides, utes and smaller tractors. If your machinery grows or your requirements change, simply add a second UpGate Large to create a double-sided system with additional clearance for taller machinery.

Before ordering, check the height of your tallest vehicle or machine to ensure the UpGate Large provides sufficient clearance. We recommend allowing at least 200 mm between the top of your vehicle and the bungy cords. In the open position, the bungy cords are not electrified, so light contact from flexible whip antennas is not a problem.

The UpGate Large Single attaches to 6-inch (150 mm) or larger timber fence posts and typically takes around 1.5 hours to assemble and install using basic tools, including a drill, 7.5 mm drill bit, socket set, spanners and Allen keys.
