UpGate Standard Double

The UpGate Standard Double is a solar-powered automated farm gate designed for dairy and cattle farms requiring full-width gateway access for larger machinery. With an UpGate Standard installed at both ends of the gateway, tractors, trucks, feed mixers and other large farm machinery can pass through without manually opening or closing gates.

Providing approximately 3.7–3.9 metres of clearance, the UpGate Standard Double is the ideal solution where a single UpGate does not provide enough access for larger vehicles. Operated by wireless remote controls, the system allows the entire gateway to be opened at the push of a button, improving efficiency while reducing the time and effort spent opening and closing gates.

Before ordering, check the height of your tallest vehicle or machine to ensure the UpGate Standard provides sufficient clearance. We recommend allowing at least 200 mm between the top of your vehicle and the bungy cords. In the open position, the bungy cords are not electrified, so light contact from flexible whip antennas is not a problem. If additional clearance is required, consider the UpGate Large Double.

The UpGate Standard Double attaches to 6-inch (150 mm) or larger timber fence posts and typically takes around 3 hours to assemble and install using basic tools, including a drill, 7.5 mm drill bit, socket set, spanners and Allen keys.
